Artist "statements" seem as though they should be profound. (i.e. My work reflects...blah blah...")

Gah!

The problem is... I have nothing profound to say in this area. I can say that all of my paintings reflect "me," in one way or another, but...that is neither here nor there. Painting, for me, is not about the degrees I have attained (Yes, I have two, neither of which are in art). My paintings are not meant to be embedded with something so intense that you collapse to your knees in insight, they are just simply, "me."

With all of that said, Welcome. Above everything, thank you for taking a moment to look at my art. I do not have a "guestbook" but I thoroughly enjoy hearing feedback... especially the negative. So.. carry on ... and again... Thanks.
